Palermo tour

The tour includes the departure of the coach from the hotel in Messina. Arrival in Palermo. Visit of the splendid Palazzo dei Normanni (Royal Palace). Walking along the Cassaro, the most ancient artery of the city, it is possible to enjoy the vision of infinite eighteenth and nineteenth-century noble palaces. We will pass under Porta Nuova, one of the ancient gates of the city, built in the 16th century to celebrate the arrival in Palermo of the Emperor Charles V. Continuing towards the sea we will reach the magnificent Norman Cathedral. In the afternoon visit the Quattro Canti of Palermo (“the Teatro del Sole”) and the nearby Norman churches of Martorana and S. Cataldo. Then transfer to Monreale and visit the magnificent Duomo. In the evening, return to Messina.
