Messina Hill Tour

The tour includes the departure of a bus from Piazza Duomo, the most important square in Messina where the Cathedral stands. Here the vast majority of tourists and cruise passengers gather, who, every day at 12:00, can admire its majestic Astronomical Clock. Continue along Via Garibaldi, along which the main monuments of the city meet: the church of the Catalans, one of the glaring examples of Arab-Norman architecture in Sicily; the Vittorio Emanuele Theater; the lovely Villa Mazzini.

Arrives at the Shrine of Christ the King built on a small hill on the ruins of the castle of Matagrifone and enjoy an incomparable view of the Strait; visit the Regional Museum, which boasts works by Caravaggio and Antonello da Messina. You can reach the San Rizzo Hills that rise from the sea and dominate the city and take walks in the woods on foot, by mountain bike or by jeep. A unique experience in an oasis of greenery and pure air.
